Massage Therapy is the assessment of soft tissue and joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of dysfunction, injury, pain and physical disorders of the soft tissues and joints by manual and physical methods to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function to relieve pain and promote health.
Acupuncture is among the oldest healing practices in the world. As part of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture aims to restore and maintain health through the stimulation of specific points on the body.

Massage: 1 hour is a common session length, though sessions are available anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. If you have more then one area of concern, a treatment of at least 45 minutes is recommended.
Acupuncture: A treatment is approx. 1 hour.
Feel free to call us if you are unsure of how long an appointment to book.
Prior to your appointment, please fill out the necessary Health History Forms online via the link in your booking confirmation email. Or you may print and fill out the Health History Forms on your own time and bring them with you to your initial appointment.
If you don't do the health history form ahead of time, please arrive 10-15 minutes early in order to have time to complete it without being rushed.
For massage, the first time you visit will be a minimum 45 minute treatment to allow time for the initial assessment. We will spend about 15 minutes at the beginning of your treatment discussing your current symptoms and goals for your massage therapy treatments. Some questions we ask during the interview may seem unrelated to massage; however, please realize that the body is complex in its connections. Often something may seem unrelated, when it is actually connected to the cause of your symptoms. During this assessment time we may also assess posture and/or movement.
We are conveniently located in the Pennbridge Building of the Royal Oak Shopping Centre. The best entrance is off West Saanich Road.
